KGV denied funding

KGV college has been denied vital funds for rebuilding.
KGV College's re-building plans have suffered a major setback following the Learning and Skills Council's failure to deliver £40m of funds needed for the work. Southport's MP, John Pugh, said the college had "been led up the garden path by the Learning and Skills Council" and branded the failure to deliver promised funding "a disgrace".
Earlier in March, John Pugh led a debate in Westminster demanding that the Government come clean on the issue of college funding.
